§ Mr. Bruceasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he has yet reached a decision about the provision of additional funds for the urban programme in Scotland in 1984–85.
§ Mr. AncramResources for the urban programme for 1984–85 were determined against a background of350W consistent underspending by local authorities. Authorities have been asked to confirm the extent of the slippage of expenditure programmed for 1983–84 into the current financial year and the extent of their commitments for this year. Once this information is available, my right hon. Friend will be in a position to determine whether there is any scope within existing provision to accommodate additional projects.
