§ Mr. Norman Atkinsonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will instruct the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis to assist sympathetically the establishment of street stalls for the purpose of making available general advice about civic rights, social security entitlements and local authority benefits and grants to casual passing pedestrians.
§ Mr. HurdNo. In the Metropolitan police district the licensing of street stalls for any purpose is a matter for the local authority.
