HC Deb 01 August 1984 vol 65 cc282-3W
Mr. McNamara

asked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he is satisfied with the interrogation procedures and practices of the Royal Air Force police in Cyprus following the acquittal of Aircraftsman Paul Davies; whether he will establish an inquiry into those procedures; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Lee

I am completely satisfied with the way in which investigations into the alleged offences committed by Senior Aircraftman Paul Davies were carried out. I have nothing to add to the reply given to the hon. Member by my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister today.
