Mr. Ron Brownasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will introduce legislation requiring the licensed trade to adopt the larger English-style pint glasses in Scotland's public houses.
§ Mr. AncramAs my right hon. Friend announced in the House on 27 March at column141, a survey is to be conducted by the Office of Population Censuses and Surveys to assess present public attitudes to the licensing law. The results of the survey are expected next year and we shall then consider what, if any, amending legislation is required.
