§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsThe permanent staff of my Department numbered 2,196½ full time equivalents on 1 July 1983 and 2,192 on 1 July 1984. The latter figure includes 11 staff whose work was transferred to the Welsh Office from other Government Departments.
