HC Deb 30 April 1984 vol 59 c42W
Mr.Janner

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will list those occasions, during the last five years, in which he has written to embassies or high commissions in the United Kingdom, reminding them of their obligations under article 41 of the Vienna convention on diplomatic relations.

Mr.Whitney

We draw the attention of diplomatic missions to all except the most minor offences committed by members of their staff. Approximately four such communications are sent every week. It would involve a disproportionate effort to list all communications in which a specific reference to article 41 was made.
