§ Mr. Marlowasked the Prime Minister if she will make it her policy not to agree to an increase in European Economic Community own resources which could permit an average United Kingdom net rebated contribution over the next five years in excess of that over the last five years.
§ The Prime MinisterI have made it clear that I am prepared to consider an increase in the Community's own resources only if agreement is reached on a fairer sharing of budgetary burdens and on effective control of agricultural and other expenditure.
