asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will identify the location and purpose of each terminal with access to an Inland Revenue computer at Telford holding records for pay-as-you-earn taxpayers where the terminal is not located in a local tax district office.

Terminals capable of accessing PAYE records are located only in Inland Revenue offices.

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is the number of Inland Revenue computers at Telford that hold records for pay-as-you-earn taxpayers and the number of terminals with access to these computers.

There is at present only one computer at Telford holding PAYE records; 375 terminals are currently connected to this computer.
