HC Deb 05 April 1984 vol 57 c632W
Mr. Michael Morris

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer how much money is still held by the Exchequer in capital and interest terms in post-war credit awaiting claimants.

Mr. Moore

The Inland Revenue estimated earlier this year that over 95 per cent. of post-war credit had been paid. Some £34 million remains unpaid and interest on this credit would amount to about £13 million.
