Mr. Peter Morrison

[pursuant to his reply, 2 April 1984, c. 395No. Local education authorities make proposals for TVEI projects within the national criteria and guidelines issued by the Manpower Services Commission. Once accepted in principle, the detailed staffing, equipment and premises implications of each proposal for each year of its five-year term are discussed and agreed between the authorities and the commission. This forms the basis of the formal contract between them. The Manpower Services Commission will reimburse the local education authority only in respect of types of expenditure' specified in the contract and within the limits laid down in it.
