§ Mr. GummerThe latest comparable figures are from the new earnings survey for April 1983. Average gross weekly earnings of all full-time male manual employees aged 21 and over, and of all full-time adult employees, are published in table 5.6 of labour market data inEmployment Gazette for February 1984, a copy of which is in the Library. Some later information on the earnings of manual employees in production and transport industries is given in the article, "Earnings and hours of manual workers in October 1983", also published in Employment Gazette for February 1984 (pages 47 to 53).
