§ Mr. Chris PattenIt is estimated that the gross amount which will be saved will be about £2,579,000 in 1984–85. However, this will be partly offset by increases in the housing assistance payable to those householders who will receive a consequential increase up to £3.10 a week for each 18 to 20 year old non-dependant on supplementary benefit.
