§ Q41. Sir Peter Blakerasked the Prime Minister what steps are being taken to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the signature of the North Atlantic Treaty on 4 April.
§ The Prime MinisterThis important occasion will be marked by an exhibition at the Royal United Services Institute, Whitehall with the theme "35 Years of Peace in NATO". The original NATO treaty document will be on display for the first time in Europe. The exhibition will be open to the public on 6, 7 and 9 April and will then tour the country throughout the remainder of the year.
