§ Mrs. ChalkerWork started on the reconstruction of 61½2 miles (10 kms) of the northbound carriageway between junctions 16 and 18 on 12 March, and the contract is expected to be completed by November, 1984. Reconstruction is in 11 phases to minimise delay, starting at junction 16.
