§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsThe sheepmeat regime has provided a secure basis for development of the industry in Wales and considerable benefits to producers. The Commission's proposal in its current review to retain the regime is welcome, but we will examine the suggested changes carefully to ensure that our producers retain their confidence in the future.
