§ Mr. Beithasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether Her Majesty's Government intend to sign the Council of Europe convention on compensation for victims of violent crime, which will be opened for signature on 24 November.
§ Mr. Hillasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether Her Majesty's Government will ratify by signature on 24 November the Council of Europe convention on compensation for victims of violent crime which fixes minimum requirements in respect of loss of earnings, medical, hospital and funeral expenses and, in the case of dependants, loss of maintenance.
§ Mr. MellorWe intend to sign the convention on 24 November with a view to ratifying it as soon as possible thereafter.
