§ Mr. Alexander FletcherAs the Monopolies and Mergers Commission suggested in its report on credit card franchise services, the Director General has been keeping the supply of credit cards under review, including charges levied on smaller traders by the credit card companies. If he considered that a further investigation was called for, either of the market as a whole or of a particular feature of it, he could make a further reference to the Commission.
