§ Mr. RidleyI am watching developments at London Transport closely and will be considering what this may28W require. We already propose to remove London Transport from the GLC as soon as possible. It cannot be in the interests of Londoners if the management of London Transport is undermined by inappropriate board appointments or capricious political direction.
