§ Mr. Alexander FletcherThe examination process for applications for the registration of trade marks has undergone a major overhaul following a Rayner scrutiny. This has already introduced greater efficiency and will lead to gradual reduction of current delays. Other changes are in prospect which will further improve the trade marks registry's performance.
