§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Transport if, when publishing his promised survey of physical damage and deaths which have occurred on the roads since the introduction of the compulsory use of seat belts and of death and injuries that have ensued as a result thereof, he will give separate details to show the deaths and accidents which occurred amongst those who were either failing to wear seat belts or were exempt from using them under the exemption sections of the Act.
§ Mrs. ChalkerOur studies will provide information on whether casualties in road accidents were or were not wearing seat belts, but it will not always be possible to identify those not wearing their belts because they were exempt from so doing.
