§ Mr. Proctorasked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will make a statement on the progress of the construction of the M25 through the county of Essex.
§ Mrs. ChalkerThe section from the A13 to the Al27 at Codham Hall is already open to traffic, though for the time being traffic movements at the Codham Hall interchange are restricted. The section from A 127 to the A12 is due for completion in May and that from A12 to the M11 in July, but very good progress is being made and given favourable weather conditions it may be possible to open both in April. The final section in Essex, from the M11 to the A10, is expected to open in the winter of 1983–84.
