§ Mr. Hannamasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, pursuant to the answer of 3 February, Official Report, c. 162, the British Board of Film Censors and the British Videogram Association have reached a conclusion on whether to extend the film classification system to video cassettes.
§ Mr. MayhewI understand that the working party that the board and the association set up to consider this matter has now submitted a report, which has been accepted in principle by the association. I gather that the detailed implementation of the scheme is now being considered as a matter of urgency, and that the association hopes to make an announcement before the end of the month.
