§ 18. Mr. Peter Robinsonasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many times the Northern Ireland assembly and each of its six statutory committees has sat; and upon what subjects the assembly has made reports to him.
§ Mr. PriorTo date there have been 30 plenary sittings of the Northern Ireland assembly, and the six departmental committees have met 76 times.
The assembly has so far produced four formal reports which I am required under section 3 of the Northern Ireland Act 1982 to lay before Parliament. They were on proposals for draft orders on property (discharge of mortgage by receipt), access to the countryside and housing; and on a discussion paper on determining the regional rate.
