§ Mr. Iain Millsasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he is satisfied with the operation of the Housing Act 1980 as regards the definition of flats and required service charges as in the cases of Mr. and Mrs. Brook and Miss Musgrove, details of which have been supplied to him.
§ Sir George YoungWhile I am satisfied with the general framework provided by the Housing Act 1980 in these respects, subject to certain limited changes in respect of service charges proposed in the Housing and Building Control Bill, the circumstances of the two cases to which my hon. Friend refers are unusual, and I shall write to him about them shortly.
