§ Mr. John PattenThe world population plan of action, which was adopted at the world population conference in Bucharest in 1974 is a long document which covers many different activities related to population. The United Kindom, in collaboration with other Governments and inter-Governmental and non-governmental organisations plays a continuing role in assisting in the implementation of this plan of action in developing countries.
