§ Mr. Allan StewartComprehensive information about the quantity of land acquired by local authorities is not available centrally. My Department will shortly be considering with the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities steps which might be taken to identify underused and vacant land in the possession of public authorities which is suitable for development and to bring it on to the market.
