§ 42. Mr. Christopher Priceasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he last visited Hendon to discuss the training of Metropolitan policemen.
§ Mr. MayhewOn 29 September 1981. Since then there have been discussions with the Metropolitan Police at both ministerial and official level on a range of training issues; for example; the training aspects of the Scarman report and of the Commissioner's recent report of his preliminary assessment of the problems and priorities of the force. In addition, my noble Friend visited the uniform branch training school at Hendon on 30 September 1982.
