Why, as students on the New Technical Education Initiative courses will be preparing for City and Guilds, Business Technician Education Councils and Royal Society of Arts qualifications, no person who can be identified as a practitioner in this field of further education has been included in the steering group.
§ The Earl of Swinton: The National Steering Group has now been extended to include a member from non-advanced further education. Mr. M. J. McAlister, Principal of the Blackpool and Fylde college of Further Education, has agreed to serve.
