§ Mr. Foulkesasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list (a) the number of private and voluntary residential homes by social service department and (b) the number of private nursing homes by regional health authority.
§ Mr. John Patten[pursuant to his reply, 19 December 1983]: The following table shows, in aggregate for each local social services authority's area, the number of homes registered under the Residential Homes Act 1980 and assisted children's homes and registered voluntary homes for children under the Child Care Act 1980.
