Whether they will list the categories of and numbers of staff employed in connection with the Public Lending Right Scheme and their salary ranges.
The Minister of State, Privy Council Office, and Minister for the Arts (The Earl of Gowrie)On 19th December 1983, 16 staff were employed in the Public Lending Right Office, and comprised all the staff employed in connection with the Public Lending Right Scheme. There numbers, categories and salary ranges were as follows:
One Registrar (Principal) £12,339–£16,656 One Senior Executive Officer £10,079–£12,518 Two Higher Executive Officers £8,166–£10,218 Three Executive Officers £6,342–£8,088 Six Clerical Officers £4,394–£5,708 One Clerical Assistant £3,682–£4,584 One Specialist Typist £3,970–£4,886 One Personal Secretary £4,886–£5,992 There are no plans to employ additional staff.
