§ Mrs. ChalkerThe concrete specified for concrete carriageways—that is, rigid pavements—is sufficiently dense for water seepage through the concrete itself not to be a problem. Steps are being taken with the the cooperation of the manufacturers to improve the durability of joint sealants.
