§ Mr. NewtonIn the light of comments from interested organisations we will be considering the recommendations in the report by Mr. P. R. Oglesby on the greater use of lay adjudicators in mobility allowance cases and on a further study to evaluate the practicability of lay adjudication in attendance allowance cases. Consideration of these questions will necessarily take a little time. Housewives' non-contributory invalidity pension already has a system of lay adjudication.
