§ Mr. Carter-Jonesasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will specify the proportion of overseas development aid devoted to projects for (a) people with physical disabilities, (b) people with mental handicaps and (c) people with mental illnesses; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. RaisonThe proportion of overseas aid spent on projects solely for those already disabled is small and usually takes the form of jointly funded projects with voluntary organisations. A full list of projects in the form requested is not readily available but I will let the hon. Member have the information as soon as it has been assembled.
