§ Mr. Alan ClarkThe European Commission has proposed in European Council document 9451/83 of 29 September 1983 that there should be a "Recommendation on the Reduction and Reorganisation of Working Time". Its proposal will be discussed at a meeting of the Labour and Social Affairs Council of the EC on 8 December which my right hon. Friend will attend.
