§ 21. Mr. Norman Atkinsonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will reconsider the discretion given to immigration officials at all ports of entry concerning refusal to enter the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. WaddingtonImmigration officers carry out their duties in accordance with the provisions of the immigration rules and such instructions as may be given them by the Secretary of State. My right hon. and learned Friend has, at present, no plans to revise those rules or instructions.
