§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithDecisions on awards of European Community capital grants to the fishing industry 177W under Regulations (EEC) Nos. 355/77 and 1852/78 are made by the European Commission, not by the Government. The decisions of the Commission will reflect its view of the merits of individual applications within the parameters laid down by the relevant EC legislation.
