§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithMy Department receives details of the year in which fishing vessels registered in England and Wales were built. Derived from these, the average age of vessels by registered length groups in December 1982 were as follows:
40–80 feet 25 years old 80–110 feet 18 years old 110–140 feet 16 years old over 140 feet 16 years old
