§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsThe youth training scheme started on 4 April and I am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that detailed information about it will not be available until the end of May. The MSC's444W plans envisage some 25,000 YTS places in Wales this year, of which it is expected that around 15,000 will be employer sponsored. The scheme guarantees the offer of a place for all minimum age school leavers including those who left school this easter.
