asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) what is the detection rate of breast cancer for each diagnostic unit screening women against breast cancer;

(2) what is the lowest, highest and average lead time for detection of breast cancer by screening in each of the diagnostic units currently performing screens for breast cancer;

(3) what percentage of women with breast cancer is cured for five years or more whose cancer has (a) been identified by screening or (b) been identified by other means.
