§ Mr. Beithasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he is satisfied that adequate steps have been taken to protect Belford Hall, Northumberland, which is a grade II* listed building.
§ Mr. MacfarlaneThe Department is in touch with Berwick borough council about the condition of this building. The hall has recently changed ownership and the new owners have indicated that they intend to carry out repairs with all speed. I am keeping the matter under review.
