§ Mr. Peter Bottomleyasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what guidance on planning is being given to the new district health authorities.
§ Mr. Geoffrey FinsbergI have today distributed to health authorities and to local social services authorities copies of a circular giving guidance on the future planning of health services. This fulfils our undertaking, given in "Patients First", to simplify the NHS planning system. Copies of the circular have been placed in the Library of the House.
