§ Lord BelsteadPrisoners in category A are eligible to be considered for parole in accordance with the same criteria as other prisoners. The last occasion on which the Parole Board recommended for release a prisoner who was in category A at the time of the recommendation was in October 1981. The last occasion on which such a recommendation was accepted was in September 1980.
