§ Mr. Trotterasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer to what figure the exemption limit for value added tax would have to be raised in order to allow for the fall in the value of the pound since the present limit was fixed.
§ Mr. Bruce-Gardyne[pursuant to his reply, 5 March 1982, c. 275.]: To take account of the increase in the RPI between March 1981 and January 1982 the registration limit would have to be raised to £16,400.
