§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in view of the comments by the Lord Chancellor on, and the results of, the case in the House of Lords of Michael Evans who was wrongly dismissed as a policeman, he will recommend to Her Majesty the Queen the cancelling of the warrent of appointment of Mr. Philip Myers, the chief constable then responsible, as an inspector of constabulary.
