asked the Secretary of State for Transport whether the Under-Secretary of State will seek to visit Israel in the next 12 months for the purposes of promoting co-operation and trade; and whether he will give reasons for his decision in this matter.

My Department has received no reqest for such a visit, and we have no plans at present to undertake one.
