§ Mr. Greville Jannerasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) whether, in view of the decision of the Court of Appeal in the case of Bernard Saltman, he will review the manner of compensating citizens wrongly convicted and imprisoned;
(2) whether, in view of the decision of the Court of Appeal in the case of Bernard Saltman, he will hold an inquiry into each case in which evidence given by Dr. Keith Gugan has led either to the conviction of an accused person or to the refusal by an insurance company of money which would otherwise have been payable.
