§ Mr. Teddy Taylorasked the Minister for Trade what progress he has made in formulative regulations to ease the restrictions on advertising balloon and on aircraft with advertising displays.
§ Mr. SproatI have now completed my review of the regulations on aerial advertising, and I have decided that, in line with my continuing policy of liberalising aviation generally, the current ban on advertising by means of small captive balloons and banners towed behind aeroplanes should now be relaxed. I shall lay amending regulations before the House in the near future.
