§ Mr. FowlerI assume that the hon. Member's question is intended to refer to the successor to the present chairman. Mr. James Ackers becomes chairman of the West Midlands regional health authority on 1 August. He is chairman and managing director of Ackers Jarrett Limited, a past chairman of the West Midlands association of chambers of industry and commerce, and deputy chairman of the association of British chambers of industry and commerce. He is also a member of the Monopolies and Mergers Commission and the Megaw committee on Civil Service pay.
