§ Mr. AlisonBetween May 1979 and June 1982 the numbers of people registered as unemployed in the Wolverhampton employment office area increased by 182 per cent. in total, 200 per cent. for males and 145 per cent. for females. The figures on which these increases are based include school leavers and are not seasonally adjusted.
