The Health and Safety Commission has recognised that there is a need to reduce accidents when hitching trailers and equipment to agricultural tractors and this subject is included in the work programme of its Agriculture Industry Advisory Committee.
This matter is at present under consideration by the committee with particular regard to research and other means of reducing accidents.
